Red caviar – salmon roe. It has been known since ancient times for its variety of species: chum salmon, atlantic salmon, chinook salmon, pink salmon, coho salmon, sockeye salmon and the ways of preparation: grained, salmon roe, dried, smoked. Smoked caviar by our recipe is popular in Kamchatka. It has a dense consistency and a very rich, intense taste of caviar with a hint of smoking. It will appeal to both connoisseurs and those who are just discovering the “world of caviar”. An excellent snack for a cold drink, it is easy to cut into firm, dense, fragrant slices and serve on a plate. The consistency is very similar to that of a pressed caviar, sticking to the teeth a little. But that’s exactly the chic thing about it – it’s very nice to feel a sip of champagne combining with the smoked caviar eggs to bring them back to their bursting shape.
